Heyya minna, It’s Ryuuji Tatsuya!
Welcome to another post of ‘A Fortnight of Shoujo Challenge’! I barely made it on time for the last post (Only 2 minutes remained for the day to end), so that’s why I decided that I won’t be taking any chances and posted this just a few hours after.
Yeah that was the plan, but I panicked and posted it at the same time.
Tee hee~ ❤
FAVORITE SHOUJO SUPPORTING CHARACTER:
Even though we fail to notice it most of the time, the supporting character is one of the most vital things necessary for a good anime. I will be talking about this one guy who pops into my mind every time I talk about supporting characters. So without any further ado, let’s get right into it!
It’s not the first time that I have said this and I feel bad for that too, that Orange did not deserve the hype it got in 2017 (Thanks to which I fell into its trap too). While the theme of regret and friendship was flaunted well in the story, it completely lacked impact; to a point that its ‘Emotional scenes’ were nothing but pure cringe (Sorry for being harsh). The only thing that saved this series from being a complete failure to barely tolerable was Suwa. A true supporting character is the one who binds the story together and motivates the main characters to progress with the plot properly, while not attracting much attention to him. Suwa was the best character from this series and it is because he completely fulfilled the job of a good supporting character (And also because the other characters were pure cringe). He also is the definition of a true gentleman; giving up the love of his life for the sake of her happiness isn’t an easy thing to do. I respect him and adore him for being the perfect man that he is.
And with that another post of this challenge comes to an end! Oh boy, only 3 more days, huh? I’m getting excited (And scared at the same time!) Do you guys agree with my choice or would you like to point out any flaws? Then be sure to do so in the comments below! Until next time, I hope you guys have a great time and as usual, thanks for reading!
Psst! Did you missed the other posts? Don’t worry…
