15 Days of Death Note Challenge: Day 4

Heyya minna, it’s Ryuuji Tatsuya!

Welcome back to Day 4 of ‘The 15 Days of Death Note Challenge!’

Before I start this post,I just wanna say that things are not looking great. My cram school suddenly decided to start again and it really makes it harder for me to write. Although I will be trying to complete the challenge, let’s hope for the best and get right into it!

Day 4: Most Relatable/Ideal Character

Now this question makes different sense at once. If we are talking about ideal character, then of course the answer is gonna be Light since I think of him as my idol (And because I’m gay for him :v). However, if we are talking about a relatable character then the only guy I can relate and pity the most in this series is Matsuda.

In the real world, I’m often the one who tries to make everything into a joke (I guess, you know that already by now) and thus there are times when I feel like I’m taken for granted, or that my voice isn’t strong enough (I don’t mean the deepness of my voice). Same thing is with Matsuda.

He must be a brave and qualified police officer, or else how did he manage to get into the task force. But thanks to his attempts to joke around to lighten the mood, or maybe just his noobness when it comes to work is what makes him the butt of all jokes. He is taken for granted and isn’t given much responsible work like other, that’s the part where I relate to him.

I just noticed Chief Soichiro’s face XD

Well thankfully, I don’t get to hear “Be quiet, Matsuda!” every single day.

With that, Day 4 of this challenge also comes to an end! Be sure to hit like if you enjoyed and comment your answers below! Until tomorrow, I hope you guys have a great time, and thanks for reading!

  1. Sorry to hear about cramschool interfering with completing this (for me at least) interesting sounding challenge that I have never heard of before. I bought the complete manga a couple of months back, and I really can’t wait to get started on it. I hope you can complete the challenge either way, and of course good luck with school: You can do it 🙂

      1. Yeah lol, it’s a brick (that’s really how much it weighs), but it looks seriously cool. No, it doesn’t spoli anything. (I already know the basic premise having seen the Japanese live action movies a couple of years ago). In fact this challenge only motivates me more to start reading it.
It really is fun to be back, and I hope it all works out for you 😊 Thank you!

  2. I got worried when you first mentioned Light for this question, but I’m with you when it comes to Matsuda. I’d also pick Light’s father as well. He’s trying to do right with his job and his family, but he keeps having sneaking suspicions about his son. He doesn’t want to assume the worst, but he needs to confront this fact without letting his emotions get in the way of it.
